I had seen pictures, but I had not realized that your puppy is a Beagle. My parent's Beagle, Paddy, came to live with us over 3 years ago since she does better having more people and another dog around. They are great dogs, but have their quirks. Paddy is not happy that John repaired the fence (for a second time) since she wants to go explore the neighborhood. She got lose a couple of times but did not go far.
